Project Scope
The projects mainly covers solar photovoltaic (PV), battery storage and generators between 10MW to 50MW from 33kV to 132kV connections on to DNO network e.g. SSE, UKPN, WPD, NPG, SPEN.
Our Scope
- Review the connection offers and to engage directly with hosting DNO’s requesting for amendments and modifications to the offer
- Cost–benefit analysis (CBA) to ensure developers receives the least cost offer and a feasible solution from the network operators
- Prepare brief technical report summarizing the pros and cons – highlighting all key technical and commercial risks on connection offers for client’s decision making for Go or No Go
Our Key Attributes
- We have worked on more than 50 sites and have helped our clients to win major tenders on NG balancing schemes
- Major cost savings – identified alternative point of connection options and have saved thousands of pounds on both contestable and non-contestable element
