Project Scope
Renewable energy projects involving PV Solar, Battery Storage, AC Generators and Customer connections involving Data Centers in the South East of England.
Our Scope
- Provide technical support for new connection enquiries from application right to final commissioning
- Provide design and technical support to SSEN project delivery team to identify protection requirements and work scope due to system reinforcement or uprating works
- Responsible for all aspects of protection design, including design review, approval following receipt of design submissions from ICPs
- Preparation of relay files and settings in PLACAR/MAXIMO
- Prepare protection work scope document for delivery contractor and undertake tender briefings and site visits
Our Key Attributes
- We have worked on more than 100 connections projects supporting ICP’s on tight schedules to achieve their Ofgem ROC dates whilst ensuring their solutions and quality complies with SSEN’s standards
- Final design solutions were delivered within the proposed non-contestable cost
