Project Scope
Providing protection relay settings engineering for capital and green recovery projects under ED2. The project involves 15 GSP sites.
Our Scope
- Perform settings calculations, grading studies (upper and lower stream relays), provide associated fault study justifications and recommend new/proposed settings i.e. main and back-up protections ensuring effective grading, clearance times, sensitivity and selectivity for the entire credible network running arrangements
- Check and ensure the correct protection accessories (e.g. metrosils, stabilising resistors, etc.) are specified in the design
- Check CT’s are correctly sized (e.g. VA, Vkp, Io) and able to drive the protection
- Check and ensure settings compliance against the latest SPEN protection settings policy/standards
- Review the existing settings (for work involving existing sites, remote ends)
