Project Scope
Installation of new 6 panel 33kV indoor switchboard at Ascot substation and to establish 2 new 33kV cable circuits to MVEE substation and remote end protection modifications at Bracknell, Sunninghill and Chobham substations.
Our Scope
- Site visits and data collection, prepare protection notes, battery assessment, review existing settings and protection scheme
- Main Connections Protection drawings and AC & DC detailed design schematics – Red & Green in Stage-by-Stage form
- Preparation IED diagram – Red & Green in Stage-by-Stage form
- Checking equipment order schedules, specify requirements for loose materials and review manufacturers drawings
- Perform settings calculations, grading studies, provide associated fault study justifications and recommend new settings
- Answering P&C technical based queries within the scope of Stage 1 and Stage 2 and management of Design Review Log
Our Key Attributes
- Undertake grading impact assessment studies to propose the best grading margins.
- Due to network constraints the network operator altered the staging sequence by requesting a temporary Tee-Off and our team of engineers worked rigorously to prepare temporary distance protection settings for 3-ended circuit and delivered the work within an impressive turnaround time to meet the planned outage.
